Half day workshop for staff working across a variety of cultures. Participants will gain most from this workshop if they have attended ‘Communicating Across Cultures’.
Which cultures do your team most need to know about? Tailored for individual workplaces, these workshops focus on specific cultural groups living in New Zealand. Jenny works with guest presenters to give you greater understanding of cultural communication styles and values.
Each workshop will cover:
- Who lives here? – a profile of that ethnic community in New Zealand
- Identifying stereotypes and assumptions
- Language and communication styles
- Key aspects of culture, including names, body language, personal space, time, values
